Kitchen steward — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Hancock County, West Virginia. You will be based in a catering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
