Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Dougherty County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
