Immediate opening: head baker (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Milton Keynes, England. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. On a typical shift you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
