Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Rains County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
