Immediate opening: quality assurance assistant (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data Six days a week, one day off.
