Pipe tig welder wanted in Mercer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Mercer County, Ohio. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
