Reinforcement fitter • Ife North, Osun State

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Ife North, Osun State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
