We are recruiting: bricklayer (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Allegany County, New York. You will work on a busy housing site. The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
