Earthmoving equipment operator — City of Fredericksburg

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
