Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Elmore County, Idaho. The job is at a halal meat counter. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
