Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Smith County, Mississippi. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
