Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Slope County, North Dakota. The job is at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics 4+ years on the tools preferred.
