Tyre and wheel fitter — Calloway County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Calloway County, Kentucky. The job is at a car service centre. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers The role involves: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
