Argon welding operator wanted in Anoka County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Anoka County, Minnesota. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
