We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coater in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. The role involves run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £135 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
