Heat pump installer • Borough of Thurrock, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heat pump installer in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will work at a social housing retrofit scheme. Your main tasks: • Size and select the heat pump unit and buffer tank • Connect flow and return pipework to the buffer tank or cylinder • Mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base • Pressure test the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen and check for leaks • Commission the system and set flow temperatures and weather compensation curve • Survey the property and calculate heat loss room by room Ideal candidate: • G3 unvented cylinder qualification an advantage • Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
