Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Marion County, Kansas. You will work in a meat processing plant. You will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Part-time with flexible hours.
