Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
