Dogger — Berks County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Berks County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a container port. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists 4+ years on the tools preferred.
