Join our team: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Jackson County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules On a typical shift you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
