Argon welding operator • Randolph County, West Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Randolph County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
