MIG/MAG welder — Graham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Graham County, North Carolina. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred.
