Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Boone County, Nebraska. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
