Day-to-day duties: • Isolate and lock out machinery before starting repair work • Respond to emergency breakdown calls during shift • Replace conveyor belts, rollers and chains on production lines • Align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, pumps and gearboxes Ideal candidate: • Forklift or overhead crane licence a plus • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
