AC installation technician • Chaffee County, Colorado

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Chaffee County, Colorado. Day-to-day duties: • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge What we are looking for: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
