Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. £13 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
