Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Santa Clara County, California. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
