Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Buncombe County, North Carolina. The role involves watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
