Tiling assistant • Bracken County, Kentucky

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Bracken County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges You should have: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
