Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Edgar County, Illinois. The job is in a chemical processing unit. The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Part-time with flexible hours.
