Painter and decorator wanted in Pontotoc County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. What we are looking for: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Day-to-day duties: • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
