Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Your main tasks: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
