Gas metal arc welder wanted in Fauquier County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Fauquier County, Virginia. The job is at a busy production line. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
