Mechanical press operator • Borough of Stockport, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Borough of Stockport, England. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
