We are recruiting: we are hiring a general labourer in Calderdale, England. You will work with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage You will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
