Join our team: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Union County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time with occasional weekends.
