Join our team: press shop operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day to day you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
