Immediate opening: escalator technician (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Andrews County, Texas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
