MIG/MAG welder — Dunn County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Dunn County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
