Tracked excavator operator • Gallia County, Ohio

Join our team: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Gallia County, Ohio. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
