Groundskeeper — Gaston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will work at a private estate garden. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Six days a week, one day off.
