Ceramic tiler wanted in Grand Traverse County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day-to-day duties: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
