Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Nobles County, Minnesota. The job is at an auto components factory. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On the job you will handle: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
