Turning centre operator wanted in Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
