Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Lincoln County, South Dakota. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On the job you will handle: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Full-time with occasional weekends.
