Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in McLeod County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy press shop. Day to day you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
