Groundsman wanted in Saint Bernard Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day-to-day duties: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Rotating shifts. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
