Immediate opening: we are hiring a trailer driver in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. The role involves: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
