Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Esit Eket, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Six days a week, one day off.
