Aluminium workshop fabricator — Buckinghamshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Buckinghamshire, England. The job is on a commercial shopfront installation. On a typical shift you will apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes £130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
